This dinner recipe is so quick and so easy to make, and super healthy and delicious too!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kilo squid, with skin and ink sacs removed
  • 1 can pineapple tidbits, drained (reserve syrup)
  • 1 small ginger, sliced
  • 1 large (300 g) cucumber, unpeeled and sliced into half-moon shapes
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

Preparation

1. Simmer squid in pineapple syrup with 1 tsp. rock salt and ginger for 8 minutes. Drain and cut crosswise into 1/4″ pieces.

2. Combine squid with cucumber, bell pepper and pineapple tidbits.

3. Mix mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with 1/2 tsp. fine salt and 1/4 ts. pepper. Add o the cucumber-pineapple mixture. Blend well.

4. You can add more toppings such lettuce, parsley leaves, carrots or tomatoes. Chill until ready to serve. Serves a total of six people.

Pineapple Chicken Combo

Hey, guys, I am back and ready to blog once again! I have been super busy with lots of real-life stuff, that I haven’t updated this blog with a new dinner recipe. Speaking of being busy, there are times when most of us just don’t have the time or the energy to cook up a really nice dinner for the family, even though we want to. Sometimes we find ourselves wondering, “What should I make for dinner?” We want something that is totally easy and quick to make. So guys, I have another easy dinner recipe for you. Today, it is all about chicken.  This recipe is called Pineapple Chicken Combo.

Ingredients

  • 35 grams chicken, cut up
  • 1 tbs.  cornstarch
  • 1/4 kilo carrot, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  •  1 can of fresh cut pineapple chunks
  • 2 stalks green onions, cut into 2″ strips
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tbsp. water

Preparation

1. Season chicken with 1 tbsp. soy sauce and /8 tsp. pepper. Sprinkle with cornstarch. Fry in oil until brown. Set aside

2. Saute onion, carrot, bell pepper and grated ginger. Add 1 cup water, 1/2 tsp. iodized salt (or 1/2 tbsp rock salt) and 1 tsp. sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add chicken, then add the fresh cut pineapple chunks with syrup, s well as the dissolved cornstarch. Cook until thick. Then add green onions.

3. Place in a nice dish or bowl and serve hot. This recipe makes 6 servings. Enjoy!

Tuna Noodle Bake

Tuna Noodle Bake, or Tuna Macaroni Casserole is one of my favorite dinner recipes.  Below are several steps made simple and easy, in order to make this super delicious recipe.

Ingredients Needed:

  • 300 g Pasta Elbow Macaroni, or 8 Ounces Wide Egg Noodles
  • 6 Cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 Large Onion, sliced
  • 1 Can (170 g) Regular Tuna Chunks in Oil
  • 4 – 5 Tablespoons of Flour
  • 4 -5 Tablespoons of Butter or Margarine
  • 1 Cup coarsely grated Cheese
  • 3 Cups of Milk
  • 1 Can of drained and sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 Can of Green Peas
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Pepper
  • 1 Cup Buttered Bread Crumbs
  • Cauliflower, sliced (optional)

Procedure:

1. Pre-heat the oven at 350 degrees. Prepare a large casserole dish, lightly greased.

2. Cook elbow macaroni or wide egg noodles using package directions, then drain.

3.  While pasta / noodles are cooking, melt butter in a saucepan and saute’ garlic and onions until tender and brown. Add flour gradually until fully immersed in mixture. Slowly add the milk, stirring continuously until mixture is thick and creamy.

4. Add the Tuna chunks, grated cheese, mushrooms, green peas, cauliflower (optional), salt and pepper. Stir well then set aside your white tuna sauce.

5. In your casserole dish, pour half of the noodles and spread evenly in the dish. Top with half of the white tuna sauce. Pour the rest of the noodles into the dish, spread evenly, then top it with the remaining half of the creamy sauce. Sprinkle the top with your buttered bread crumbs.

6. Finally, place dish in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.

7. Serve and enjoy!

Mushburger Rice Recipe


It’s been another hard day, and if you are thinking, “what should I make for dinner tonight”, we got a great idea for you! You don’t want to make anything that is difficult. Making dinner doesn’t have to be difficult. It doesn’t have to be expensive either. When you follow our new recipe for today, it will make making dinner a breeze.

This is a recipe for Mushburger Rice. It is served with rice and green beans. You can also have it with a salad.

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Pound of Ground Beef
  • Half of an Onion
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Worcester Shire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • One Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • Three-Quarter Cup of Milk

Rice Recipe

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • quarter teaspoon of salt

The first step to make this recipe is to dice up one half of a large onion and saute it in a pan with 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Also you want to dice up two small cloves of garlic.

Once the onions are translucent, you want to add in your ground beef and your Worcester Sauce. Using Worcester Shire Sauce gives your meal a unique flavor. Then add salt and pepper to the meat as it is starting to cook. Once the meat has browned, the next step is to add in one can of Cream of Mushroom soup and 3/4 cup of milk. Another optional ingredient is to add a quarter cup of sour cream or yogurt. Then, you want to simmer it for about 10 minutes.

This meal only takes about 20 minutes to make. If you get the rice started right at the beginning, your rice and mushburger sauce will be done about the same time.

I strongly recommend that you use a rice cooker because then you won’t have to pay much attention to the rice. Using a rice cooker will allow you to cook the rice perfectly every time. Most people use white rice, but if you’re going to use brown rice, you need to add an extra half cup of water. Brown rice also takes just a little longer to cook. The advantage of using brown rice to cook with is that it is a  bit more healthy.

If you want, you can also sprinkle it with cheese. It serves up great with green beans or corn. Another good idea is to make a green salad to go with it. This recipe serves four to six people.
